MTA: Track work impacting 5, 2 trains

Planned track work is impacting travel for some 5 and 2 train riders this weekend.

The MTA says there are no trains running between East 180th Street and Third Avenue and 149th Street.

Several buses are stationed outside the train station at East 180th Street, running local and express routes to help travelers.

The service changes are making for a long commute for Bronx residents.

Those who spoke with News 12 say a 10-15-minute ride is turning into a 40-50-minute ride.
