New Latin fusion restaurant opens in the Bronx
If you're looking to spice things up the next time you go out to eat, then the borough's new Latin fusion restaurant may satisfy your cravings.
Travesias, which means to travel, takes diners around the world with its culturally diverse menu featuring Latin flavors with Asian and Indian twists.
The restaurant, located on East Tremont Avenue in Throgs Neck, has only been open for a couple of months, but it's already becoming a hot spot. It even has a perfect five star rating on Yelp.
Owner Brian Martinez is encouraging people to support local businesses like his instead of chains in order to help grow the neighborhood.
Travesias is now open seven days a week for dinner, but will soon be open for lunch too.
