Residents on edge after multiple apartment burglaries

Authorities say residents are on edge after various items have vanished from multiple apartments on Cruger Avenue.

Police believe the same suspect burglarized four first-floor apartments in two different buildings in the area, making away with a Macbook, $275 worth of jewelry and cash.

The suspect entered through the apartment windows, in some cases breaking the window guards to get inside residents' homes, according to police.

Police are warning everyone to stay alert and to take extra safety precautions.
