Aspiring Bronx dancers are getting help from an award-winning director and choreographer.
Otis Sallid is volunteering his time to teach the aspiring dancers in a three-day workshop at the Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center.
Sallid has choreographed such events as the Super Bowl and the Academy Awards.
Some students News 12 spoke with say despite being life-long dancers, they can still learn a lot from Sallid's top-of-the-line instruction.
Sallid says he hopes to make a difference and to instill a quality in the dancers, who may not otherwise have had a chance to make it in the profession.
The non-profit center is hoping to expand the program with Sallid to include more dancers next summer.
