New site allows Bronx residents to post messages to pope
Bronx residents have an opportunity to welcome Pope Francis with a personal message when he comes to New York next month.
Catholic Charities of New York launched a website where you can post a video, text, or photograph for the pope along with a message of charity.
A collection of them will be shared with the pontiff when he visits.
Celebrities and politicians were among the first to post messages, including comedian Whoopi Goldberg, Mayor Bill de Blasio, and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito.
