Group holds anti-violence basketball tournament
A group of students gathered in Laconia Friday for a basketball tournament devised to end violence in the community.
The friendly game was sponsored by the mentorship program, Lead by Example, which is designed to rehabilitate troubled youth.
Organizers say all kids were invited to the event, which offered free food, dodgeball, chess and games of hoops.
Lead by Example organizers say they hope to set up a mentorship program in the community in continuation of their mission to be role models to children everywhere.
