Police say a man assaulted a woman on the subway after arguing with her over a seat.
They say the woman was riding on the 2 train and had exited at the 149th Street station when she was pushed from behind.
Police say the woman fell and the suspect proceeded to hit her with his cane and stepped on her hand.
