Video released in Hunts Point robbery
Police have released video of a fast food robbery in hopes that it will help them track down the suspect.
The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. on August 22 at 1047 East 163 St., across the street from the Hunts Point subway station.
According to police, the suspect walked into the restaurant, acting like he was a customer. He soon made his way around the counter and appeared to take money from the register.
Police say a clerk then came after him with some type of stick. The suspect then hopped over the counter and took off.
The suspect is about 6 feet tall, and weighs around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt.
Cops say the worker was hurt. He was transported to a hospital where he was treated for two cuts on his forehead.
