Video released in Hunts Point robbery

Police have released video of a fast food robbery in hopes that it will help them track down the suspect.

The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. on August 22 at 1047 East 163 St., across the street from the Hunts Point subway station.

According to police, the suspect walked into the restaurant, acting like he was a customer. He soon made his way around the counter and appeared to take money from the register.

Police say a clerk then came after him with some type of stick. The suspect then hopped over the counter and took off.

The suspect is about 6 feet tall, and weighs around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt.

Cops say the worker was hurt. He was transported to a hospital where he was treated for two cuts on his forehead.
