The summer sizzle continued Tuesday with more hazy, hot and humid conditions outside.
Some residents are taking refuge in the shade, while a number of children enjoyed their time in the sun at Watson Gleason Playground in Soundview.
The kids took full advantage of the playground's monkey bars, slides, swings and sprinklers.
Many residents say they are enjoying the last bits of summer before frigid winter temperatures come back around.
News 12 The Bronx meteorologists say the hot temperatures are expected to stick around for the next couple days, with Thursday hitting the week's projected high of 92 degrees.
