Neighbors fume over knocked down trees

Angry neighbors in East Tremont say someone knocked down six newly planted trees along Beaumont Avenue at around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

People in the community say they believe the perpetrator is not a resident of the block.

Residents say their primary concern is whether the city will replant the trees.

A source tells News 12 that wires to surveillance cameras in the area appear to have been cut.
