Search for missing FL man ongoing in the Bronx

A family from Florida has traveled to the Bronx in search of their mentally unstable loved one, who they say has been missing for a week.
Tony Flores, 25, was last seen at a video game store on Westchester Avenue in Parkchester Saturday. His mother says Flores called her from the store to tell her he traveled from Florida to the Bronx.
The family moved out of the borough years ago and now lives in West Palm Beach, but when Juana Flores got home from work a week ago, she says Tony was nowhere to be found.
Juana flew to New York after he called her, but she has not heard from him since. She says he is mentally unstable and is not safe on his own. Juana tells News 12 she has reached out to shelters and has tried to file a police report, but was told because he is an adult and not on any medication, they cannot help her.
While Tony Flores does have family in the Bronx, his mother says he has not reached out to anybody.
News 12 The Bronx reached out to the NYPD for a comment, but has not yet heard back.
