Cuomo eulogizes aide slain in Brooklyn

A funeral was held Saturday for the aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo who was shot and killed earlier this month.

Cuomo delivered the eulogy at the service for Carey Gabay in Brooklyn.

Police say Gabay was struck by a stray bullet in the crossfire between rival gangs just ahead of the West Indian Day Parade on Sept. 7.

Family and friends gathered at Emmanuel Baptist Church to remember the Bronx native.

Gabay was raised in the projects and earned a full scholarship to Harvard University. Cuomo said Gabay represented the American Dream.
