Motorcyclist killed in Edenwald crash

A collision between a motorcycle and a car left one man dead Sunday afternoon in Edenwald.



The crash occurred on Boston Road and Marolla Place.



Police say the motorcycle was traveling behind the car on Boston Road when the car went to make a U-turn and the two vehicles crashed.



The motorcyclist died at Jacobi Medical Center. His identity has not yet been released, but people at the scene said that he was a well-known mechanic who was 23 years old.



The man in the car was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital to be treated for back pain.



No arrests have been made.
