Word on the Street: 'Peeple' app evaluations

A new app called "Peeple" is set to be used to evaluate people, the way Yelp is used to evaluate restaurants and businesses.

The app allows users to assign one to five star reviews to anyone, once they have signed in with their Facebook account.

Linking a Facebook account is part of the strategy to limit reckless behavior and bullying. Also, a user must have another person's cellphone number to add them to the database.

Developers say Peeple will launch in late November.

News 12 asked people in the borough what they thought about the new app.
