Although baseball legend Yogi Berra was laid to rest in Montclair, New Jersey last week, his spirit still lives on at his museum in Little Falls.
Relics of Berra's equipment and jerseys are on display in the museum, as well as a chance to try on one of his World Series rings.
A wreath designed like a purple heart was made in Berra's honor, acknowledging his military service in the Navy during World War II.
The mayor of Little Falls said Sunday that the town's "Welcome" sign will now add "Home to the Yogi Berra Museum."
Berra's personality was something that may have been the only thing to supplant his remarkable resume. The hall-of-famer spent 19 seasons in the majors as a catcher for the Yankees and Mets.
