Cars slam into tree in family's front yard

A Bronx family says a case of road rage left two cars in their front yard Wednesday night.

The incident happened on the corner of Morgan and Mace Avenues.

The family says that they were sitting upstairs in their home and having dinner when they heard and felt a huge shake.

They say they ran outside to find two cars had crashed into a tree in front of their home.

Witnesses told the family an SUV, taxi and silver sedan were coming down Mace Avenue when the driver of the SUV tried to cut the other cars off. They also say women were caught inside one of the cars and rescuers used the jaws of life to get them out.

Another homeowner says that the driver of the SUV was arrested.

Three of the victims were transported to a hospital in stable condition.
