NYPD seeks three involved in fatal deli shooting

Police are searching for the three people involved in the fatal shooting of a University Heights deli worker Sunday morning.
According to police, the deli worker, who witnesses tell News 12 was 46-year-old Fermin Mora, was behind the counter of theTrio Deli on Jerome Avenue when he was gunned down by one of his customers.
Officials have released pictures of three men they believe are persons of interest in the homicide.
Police say the men got away in a gray 2000 Chrysler sedan and have not been seen since.
Witnesses told News 12 they heard three gunshots go off Sunday morning.
According to police, the suspects got into a fight with Mora over a purchase inside his Jerome Avenue deli and shot him in the chest. Mora later died at St. Barnabas Hospital.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have yet been made.
