Police say three men impersonating officers walked into a pair of Middletown apartments and robbed tenants.

Police say the incident happened Oct. 9. Three men allegedly banged on the doors of two apartments claiming to be officers.

Police say the men then handcuffed the tenants before stealing their cellphones.

Police describe the suspects as being in their late 30s to early 40s. One of them was allegedly wearing a police badge around his neck.
