A new low-income housing complex opened in Morrisania this week.
Thirty-eight previously homeless people became tenants of the new building at 3361 Third Ave. Thursday.
The New York State Homes and Community Renewal Agency partnered with other state and city agencies to build a seven-story, multimillion-dollar facility.
There are 63 apartments in total, as well as on-site health, social and professional services.
