Dozens gathered Sunday night at Carroll Park in Carroll Gardens for a vigil to remember those killed in the Paris terror attacks.
Brooklyn is home to many French expats, some who even say they personally knew victims affected by the tragedy.
They were joined by local elected officials and clergy from Jewish, Christian and the Muslim faith who offered prayer to mourn those killed.
People from France attending the vigil say they are comforted that so many in their adopted homeland were there to support them.
Borough President Eric Adams says he will be meeting with the NYPD to discuss security improvements to popular sites in the borough, like the Barclays Center.
