It's called the City Island "ferry," but it's actually a regular bus.
The new shuttle bus for hotel guests on Eastchester Road will give tourists increased access to City Island.
The inaugural ride took off from the Marriott Residence Inn on Eastchester Road to City Island Tuesday.
It's only slated to run on Tuesdays for the time being, but officials from the hotel and the local chamber of commerce say they hope to expand service in the spring, when weather is warmer.
