Bus driver recovers after laser attack on eyes

A bus driver is recovering after police say someone aimed a laser at his rear-view mirror and into his eyes.

Kenneth Johnson says the suspect was near the back of his bus. The laser injured his left eye.

Johnson, a bus driver for 24 years, says he's dealt with his share of problems on the job, including an incident where a passenger assaulted him.

But the blinding laser attack endangered everyone aboard the bus, pedestrians and other drivers, he says.

Johnson's bus contains 13 security cameras, which police are reviewing in their investigation.
