One Bronx academy is working to make the holidays happy for its alumni while also celebrating them.
In 2004, the Eagle Academy for Young Men opened as the only public all-boys school in New York City. The school is dedicated to excellence by nurturing the borough's male youth.
On Wednesday, alumni and current students came together for their annual luncheon and the unveiling of the 2015 alumni wall containing the names of graduates who have gone on to become doctors, lawyers and other professionals.
Alumni say they return each year to inspire the current students, or their "brothers," as they call them.
More than 600 students attended the event.
