The NYPD is searching for a man who robbed a 99-cent story Friday afternoon.
Police say a man walked into Forever 99 at 1560 Westchester Ave. around 12 p.m. Friday.
According to police, the suspect was demanding a refund for a pair of sneakers that he bought and was denied.
They say the man stole $600 from the register and took off in a white Nissan Altima.
Police describe the man as around 40 years old, 6 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds.
