A Bronx company is creating some serious high-fashion clothing that is sold around the world.
KD New York, a self-described "soft workout wear" clothing line, which has its roots in dance, is located on 144th Street.
Founder David Lee says the idea to start knitting dance-inspired clothes goes back to when he was dancing for the Oakland Ballet, and a Thanksgiving dinner with one of his fellow performers.
He says the company has graduated to doing a whole world of wearable knits, including sweaters and dresses.
