The New York City Fire Department rescued a cat from trees high above Bronx Park East and Arnow Avenue Wednesday.

FDNY members from Ladder 41 responded with a massive cherry picker.

A viewer first told News 12 The Bronx about the cat stuck in a tree yesterday.

They say a number of calls were made, but fire officials did not respond until today.

News 12 The Bronx also reached out to the fire department and animal control.
