The woman accused of fatally stabbing her husband inside their High Bridge apartment was remanded at her arraignment Monday evening.
Police say 32-year-old Yanny Mejia stabbed her husband, 32-year-old Nelson Mejia, in their Shakespeare Avenue apartment Sunday morning.
They say Mejia has been charged with murder, manslaughter, assault and criminal possession of a weapon
Neighbors say the victim was a devoted father of two.
Mejia's next court appearance is set for Dec. 12.
