Fire-damaged homes in Fordham to be demolished

At least five homes are set to be demolished in Fordham after a large fire Thursday night.

Residents have not yet been allowed to return to their homes on Valentine Avenue to collect their belongings.

Fire officials say it is too dangerous to let anyone inside.

The fire chief told News 12 that the demolition could happen as early as Monday.

As News 12 has reported, at least 89 residents have been displaced.
