Police are investigating after a man was discovered dead along a sidewalk in Pelham Bay Friday morning.
The body was found near Buhre Avenue around 2:40 a.m. Residents in a building close by say they heard a noise outside, but had no idea someone had died.
Police say they are unsure if the man fell from a balcony above the sidewalk or if he was pushed or attacked on the ground.
Officials say they are reviewing security video to find out more about what happened to the man.
The man appears to have suffered a head injury. He is between 17- 30 years old, police say.
They have not identified him.
