Weather update: Temperatures continue to spike

Temperatures continue to fall Tuesday as a second round of winter weather grips the city.

Temperatures in New York City this morning were as cold as 11 degrees with wind chills that made it feel like -6 degrees.

Today, highs will likely reach 30 degrees but feel more like 20.

Sunshine is expected all day with clear skies tonight, dropping actual air temperatures back into the teens.

Tomorrow afternoon we will be above the freezing mark.

Rain is expected to arrive as soon as Friday night and will be on and off until Sunday.
