Kari Bazemore, of the Bronx, facing felony charges for allegedly slashing Brooklyn woman's face
A Bronx man is facing felony charges after police say he slashed a Brooklyn woman's face in Manhattan.
It happened on 163 West 23rd St. Wednesday.
Police say the 24-year-old woman was walking to work when 41-year-old Kari Bazemore slashed her on the left side of her face with a sharp object.
They say the victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital where she required seven stitches. 
Police say Bazemore has an extensive criminal record going as far back as 1993.
They say he has been arrested 32 times and has randomly assaulted women in the past.
