Vigil held for pregnant woman found dead

Family and friends of the woman found dead held a vigil Friday to remember a life cut short.

Andrea Caruth, who was pregnant, was found dead in her father's apartment after she went missing for days. Her 61-year-old father, William Caruth, has been charged with second-degree murder and manslaughter in the case.

Caruth's friends say they can't believe that a father could do such a thing to his own child. They say they are happy he will be facing prosecution.

A preliminary report says Caruth died of strangulation and hard blows to the head. The city medical examiner will determine an exact cause of death, according to authorities.

Friends and family want everyone to remember her and the unborn child they will never know.
