Hockey wives, girlfriends help needy residents
The wives and girlfriends of the New York Rangers and the New York Islanders came together in Hunts Point Monday to help those in need.
The women went head-to-head at the Food Bank For New York City to see who could fill up boxes full of food first.
It was all part of the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation Food Repack Day Challenge.
The food repacked will be distributed to soup kitchens and food pantries citywide
The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation is a children's health and education organization founded by New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and his wife, Therese.
