Outdoor art flourishes despite cold temps
Some people in Fordham are braving the cold in the name of art.
As News 12 has reported, the "Heartseat" is a piece of interactive art that encourages people to touch it, sit on it and get involved with it. It now also serves as a means to battle the elements with its blocked-off sides -- great for some solace from the high wind.
And despite the bitter cold and gusting winds, the Fordham Business Improvement District and neighborhood residents are still celebrating the piece, which was moved from Times Square about a month ago.
Residents say the installation is not only aesthetically pleasing but it's also a cool place to hang out, especially for college students in the area.
