Fatal accident snarls Metro-North trains

A fatal Metro-North accident near the New York Botanical Garden caused massive delays out of Grand Central Station during the evening rush hour and beyond Monday.



The fatal incident caused delays on the Harlem, Hudson and New Haven lines.



MTA officials say it happened at the Botanical Garden station. Train service in the Bronx has since resumed.



Police did not immediately release information about the victim, who was fatally struck by a train.
