Police: Man robs taxi driver at gunpoint, steals cellphone and cash

A man is accused of robbing a taxi driver at gunpoint in the Bronx.



Police say it happened on Jan. 28 when the driver picked up the suspect in Yonkers and then drove him to the Bronx.



Police say when the cab reached its final destination, the suspect pulled a gun on the cab driver and demanded money and jewelry.



The suspect got away with $100 and the driver's cellphone.
