A Bronx child is learning how to balance school and a Broadway debut at just 7 years old.
Devin Trey Campbell is currently acting in "Kinky Boots" alongside Wayne Brady. He says his training in the Bronx helped him prepare for his big role.
Starting with dance lessons at Dream Makers Performing Arts Dance School, Campbell says being on stage has been a lifelong dream.
"When I saw the 'Lion King' when I was 3 years old, I was like 'I want to be on a Broadway show, I want to be on Broadway.'"
While he has a busy schedule, Campbell still attends school in the Bronx.
"Kinky Boots" is currently playing at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in Manhattan.
