Weather: Storm brings light snowfall

Light snow is falling in the Bronx, but it is expected to switch to rain later in the day.

About 1 to 2 inches of snow could eventually accumulate across the borough, with Highbridge seeing as much as 2 inches. Earlier in the day, temperatures felt as though they were in the single digits.

The storm system is expected to switch to a wintry mix and then rain around 7 p.m. Highs are expected to be in the 30s.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter-weather advisory for the city through early Tuesday morning.
