NYPD: Teen arrested in school bathroom stabbing

An 18-year-old allegedly stabbed a student at the Marie Curie School of Medicine and Nursing Monday.

Police have Tiana Lopez in custody in connection with the attack. They say they charged her with second-degree assault.

Lopez allegedly stabbed a teenaged victim in the bathroom four times with a black knife around 11:30 a.m.

Police say several students were involved in an altercation last Thursday that may be related to the stabbing.
