'Tribe' security manager mourns death of Phife Dawg

Fans of hip-hop are mourning the loss of rapper Phife Dawg.

Malik "Phife Dawg" Taylor passed away Tuesday at the age of 45 due to complications from diabetes.

Muhammad Islam was the security manager of A Tribe Called Quest and he took time to reflect on the stories and memories of the group and Phife.

"He was my little man, and you know, little not just meaning short, but he was big in every other way," says Islam.

Islam says there is a chance fans may still be able to look forward to some new work from Phife as he was just recording with Tribe member Q-Tip last week.
