Check given for improvements at 2 NYCHA complexes

Marble Hill residents were given a gift Saturday that will enhance the look and safety of their development.

Assembly member Guillermo Linares presented the Marble Hill Houses Tenant Association with a check for $750,000 to fund two NYCHA development projects.

A third of the money will go to landscaping repairs, while the rest will be used to install new security cameras at the development.

"This is now an official a designation that will come to help enhance this wonderful complex that we have of public housing," Linares says. "I'm pleased to work very hard to bring these funds to help the families that live in Marble Hill houses."

The two projects will benefit seven NYCHA developments.
