Bronx man’s frustrations overflow along with toilet
A Bronx man says his toilet backs up every time he takes a shower, sending a flood of soapy water onto his floor.
The resident, who asked only to be identified as Marcus, says it happens inside his apartment at 870 Elsmere Place in West Farms.
Showers aren't the only thing causing the flooding. His toilet also overflows every time someone in an apartment above him uses their washing machine, he says.
Marcus says he reached out to the building's previous management, Waycrest Management, and that they sent back a letter explaining that no one in the building is allowed to have a washing machine on site.
However, he says Waycrest Management no longer services the building and that new management has yet to issue new rules to tenants.
