A Jennifer Lopez fan has started a petition on Change.org to rename a Bronx street after the singer and borough native.
With more than 1,300 signatures so far, Edgardo Luis Rivera says he is hopeful that Blackrock Avenue in Castle Hill will be renamed Jennifer Lopez Way.
Rivera will meet with Community Board 9 next month about his cause. If members approve the petition, it will then head to City Council Member Annabel Palma's desk.
While some residents feel J. Lo does not deserve the honor, Rivera says she is a role model that has given back to the community.
