Aime Rodriguez started her News 12 career as an intern at News 12 Westchester, later working as an assignment desk editor for News 12 The Bronx and as a planning editor in News 12 Long Island. She began reporting in News 12 The Bronx in 2015, where she was involved in many breaking stories, including the Prospect Avenue fire in Belmont and the Bronx Lebanon Hospital shooting. Currently, Aime is working in management as the bureau chief of News 12 Brooklyn, but she occasionally reports on special projects.
She is a graduate of both Pace University's BA and MA in media and communication arts programs.
Aime is a Cuban native who grew up in Miami, Florida. She now makes her home on Long Island. In her spare time, Aime enjoys blogging about food, cooking and watching sports with her husband. Aime loves working in the Bronx and Brooklyn boroughs; she is looking forward to reporting your stories.
