Christians celebrate Easter at Fordham church

Christians around the world celebrated Easter Sunday.

Parishioners packed Fordham Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Bronx to celebrate what they believe is the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Rev. Jonathan Recabarren says Sunday's message of rebirth and revival is one that should be remembered year-round.

"Even though we may be facing a bunch of hard times, there is a resurrection, there is hope, there is light at the end of the tunnel," he said.

Christians consider Easter Sunday the most important day in the church's calendar.
