Shoppers flock to Arthur Ave. for Easter essentials

Hundreds of New Yorkers flocked to Arthur Avenue in the Bronx Friday to shop for Easter.

Prosciutto de parma, parmesan reggiano and other cured meats from Addeo's are popular items as well as pastries from Delillo.

Shoppers packed Calandra Cheese and Casa Della Mozarella and Mike's deli where workers made fresh mozzarella cheese by the minute.

Some visitors came from Long Island, Westchester and New Jersey.

Some shoppers News 12 spoke to say if you plan on making the trip down to come early and come with a plan.
