Rain pounds borough, causes minor street flooding

Rain pounded the borough for the better part of the day Thursday.



News 12 viewers sent in photos of flooded streets in the Bronx during the hardest of the downpours.



Bronx residents who spoke with News 12 were optimistic about the potential for better weather in the future.



"It better than snow...rain brings flowers," said one resident.



Many said they are looking forward to the weekend when temperatures are expected to near 70 degrees.
