Residents: Debris falling from building on 6 line in Pelham Bay

Community activists and Pelham Bay residents say wood and nails have fallen from a building onto the No. 6 line.

When it is windy or rainy, they say debris will blow off down to the street and sidewalk from the tracks at Westchester and Wilkenson avenues.

Deli workers say they have also found two metal spikes that have fallen from the tracks.

After News 12 contacted the MTA, they inspected the structure and said they plan to remove part of the building's roof on Tuesday.
