Video shows suspect breaking into convertible in the Bronx

Police have released surveillance video of a man breaking into a parked car on a busy street in the Bronx in the middle of the day. 



The incident happened on March 23, in front of 390 East 160th St. in Melrose just after 12 p.m.



Police say the suspect can be seen breaking into the front passenger side window of the convertible after noticing a pocketbook lying on the seat inside.



The suspect eventually breaks the window frame and is seen removing a Michael Kors tote bag.



Police say the bag contained a Bulova watch, Pandora bracelet and Ray Ban sunglasses. 



The suspect is described as being 5'11" tall and 190 pounds.



He was last seen wearing a blue hat, a blue-hooded jacket and black pants.
