West Farms tenants complain of rodents in building

Some tenants in West Farms say their apartment building is overrun with mice and that repeated calls to their landlord have not helped.

The building at 2144 Crotona Parkway failed inspections for mice activity as recently as February. The landlord says an exterminator visits once a month and maintains that there is no rodent problem.

The Department of Health says inspectors will conduct a compliance inspection and provide emergency extermination, if required.
